The Makerhood team and the Wesley Creative Lab in Puketapapa partnered together to provide refurbished laptops and training to 10 migrants and refugees.
The Lab sourced the pre-owned laptops from Auckland City Council partners which were then gifted to the local community particularly to migrants and refugees who do not have access to computers at home.

We recognized the need to provide access to computers to help their children’s assignments, manage micro businesses and to communicate with loved ones abroad.
